Unicaja and Aval Castilla-La Mancha, Sociedad de Garantía Recíproca (S.G.R.) de Castilla-La Mancha, have renewed their alliance by signing a new collaboration agreement, aware of the importance of SMEs in Castilla-La Mancha in the development of the region, as active players in the generation of wealth and the creation of jobs.

One of Unicaja's objectives is to collaborate with small and medium-sized companies by providing them with financial products and services that are essential for the performance of their activities, and one of Aval Castilla-La Mancha, S.G.R.'s main functions is to provide SMEs in Castilla-La Mancha with access to sources of financing under exceptional conditions in terms of interest rates and terms, adjusting to the needs of its members by providing them with a joint and several guarantee.

For this reason, Unicaja and Aval Castilla-La Mancha have sealed an alliance by signing a collaboration agreement to promote the economic progress of the region and improve access to financing for companies in Castilla-La Mancha.

This has been ratified by the representative of the CEO of the Instituto de Finanzas de Castilla-La Mancha, Miguel Ángel González Lajas, and the Head of Corporate Banking of Castilla-La Mancha and Extremadura of Unicaja, Ignacio González Ascarza, at the headquarters of Aval CLM, in Toledo, where they highlighted the importance of this initiative to strengthen their collaboration relations in support and backing of the SMEs and self-employed of Castilla-La Mancha.

Aval Castilla-La Mancha, S.G.R. has remarked the importance of renewing the collaboration agreements with the financial entities and Unicaja has shown a great willingness to cooperate with Aval Castilla-La Mancha, S.G.R., establishing a specific line with special conditions in terms of costs and terms: advantageous financial conditions, long terms for the loan repayment, exemption of total or partial early repayment fees, exemption of study and credit account availability fees, reduction of opening fees, as well as of the applicable interest rate.

The alliance between these two entities will mean a support for all the partners that Aval Castilla-La Mancha, S.G.R. already has and for those business owners that use this financing channel, which will also mean that current and future clients of Unicaja will be able to access these advantageous financing conditions, as well as a wide range of business products and services.

Commitment to SMEs in Castilla-La Mancha

Unicaja's commitment to SMEs and the self-employed is part of its activity as a financial institution focused on the retail and proximity banking business, which plays an important role in promoting regional development.

Companies, in general, and SMEs and the self-employed, in particular, continue to be one of the key targets of Unicaja's financing policy. In this sense, the bank remains active in financing these groups, which are decisive for the revitalization of the economy and the creation of employment in the areas where it operates, among which Castilla-La Mancha stands out.
