Unicaja and the Agrupación de Congregaciones, Hermandades y Cofradías de Gloria de Málaga have renewed their long-standing collaboration agreement, which aims to facilitate the development of this brotherhood organization, and of the 23 brotherhoods that comprise it, as well as to support their work.

To this end, the financial institution offers them a comprehensive and specific financial service to support their projects and facilitate their daily activities.

The agreement was signed by Unicaja’s regional manager for Malaga, Francisco José Reguera, and by the president of the Agrupación de Congregaciones, Hermandades y Cofradías de Gloria de Málaga, Victoria Eugenia Ribes.

The support for the work of the Association is part of the actions developed by Unicaja to contribute to the promotion, dissemination and encouragement of the traditions of Malaga and the life of the brotherhoods, as repositories of social, religious, cultural and historical-artistic values and as generators of social, cultural and welfare activity.

Wide range of products and services

With the aim of contributing to facilitate the activity of the brotherhoods, the agreement includes a comprehensive offering of financial products and services, with financial advantages and designed to meet their needs.

Within this offering, products and services such as financing operations for investments; current account with special conditions; specific services for the management of collections and payments and for the processing of taxes or a wide range of digital services stand out.

Also noteworthy, among other aspects, are insurance policies. These are policies, both collective and individual, aimed at insuring and covering accidents; eventualities; damages in brotherhood houses and museums, and Civil Liability and Patrimony.

Brotherhoods of Glory of Málaga

The Agrupación de Congregaciones y Hermandades de Gloria de Málaga was created in 2000, established as such a year later, fostered by 12 brotherhoods. Currently, it brings together 23 liturgical corporations of the capital and the metropolitan area.

Its main activities are the organization of processions, the realization of proclamations, posters, worship and cultural events. The Association is focused on disseminating the activities of its member brotherhoods and working to respond to the needs that arise in the development of their various activities.
