As part of its policy of supporting the business fabric of Malaga, Unicaja has agreements with various organizations. Among them is the Asociación de la Pequeña y Mediana Empresa (Cepyme) of Fuengirola-Mijas and its nearly 200 associated SMEs, with which it has been collaborating for almost three decades.

Unicaja offers them a specific and comprehensive financial service, with favorable conditions. All this, in addition, according to the agreement signed between the financial institution and the Confederación de Empresarios de Málaga (CEM).

The objective of this adhesion, signed by the Unicaja’s head of Málaga Costa, Francisco Javier Prieto García, and the vice president of the Asociación de la Pequeña y Mediana Empresa (Cepyme) of Fuengirola-Mijas, Miguel Angel Araujo Perdomo, is none other than to facilitate the development of the activity of SMEs in these municipalities, crucial for the revitalization of the economy and job creation.

Thus, Unicaja offers companies in Fuengirola and Mijas financial products and services under advantageous conditions to meet their needs and contribute to the promotion of investments and the development of strategic projects.

Commitment to the business fabric

The boost of the business fabric, the economy and employment is one of Unicaja's general objectives, especially in the areas where it operates, such as the towns of Fuengirola and Mijas, on the Costa del Sol.

The Asociación de la Pequeña y Mediana Empresa en Fuengirola-Mijas has been a business meeting place since 1977, and has become the reference association in the area, with a high level of experience in advising SMEs. Its objective is to vindicate the image of business owners as generators of wealth and employment, at the same time that it pretends to be a valid interlocutor before the public administration.
