The town of Bargas, Toledo, is hosting these days the XXVI Campus Deportivo de Fútbol y Fútbol Sala, with the attendance of more than four hundred boys and girls, aged between 4 and 17 years. An initiative, organized by the AD Bargas, with the support of the Town Hall of the town and with the collaboration of Unicaja, which is held in two phases, until next 4 July.
The participating athletes have been divided into different age groups and modalities, football and indoor football, and have completed their training with many other activities such as chess, physiotherapy and podiatry workshops, swimming pool, as well as the opportunity to go to the Parque de Atracciones or the theme park Puy du Fou.
In addition, the participants have received visits from leading athlets to learn about their experiences in first person, such as Noelia Gutiérrez, international referee, Víctor López, a goalkeeper from Barga who plays in Romania and has been league champion in the first division, the indoor football coach Chema Jiménez, or the football coach Rubén Gala. Also, the Real Madrid players Claudia and Alicia de la Cuerda have been the godmothers of the Campus.
Unicaja collaborates with this initiative with the aim of supporting sport in the areas where it operates, in addition to promoting healthy habits especially among the younger population.
