Unicaja shows its support to the more than 200 self-employed and SMEs that make up the Association of Commerce, Business and Industry and Open Mall of Antequera (ACIA). To this end, both entities have signed a new collaboration agreement.

Thus, ACIA joins the agreement signed by Unicaja and the Confederación de Empresarios de Málaga (CEM) to support the Malaga business sector and contribute to strengthen the liquidity of companies in their daily activities.

This support translates into making available to the members of the association a specific and comprehensive financial service, with favorable conditions, aimed at promoting and facilitating the development of their activity.

The agreement reinforces the close relationship that has existed for almost two decades between the two entities and was signed by Unicaja's Area Manager for Malaga Inland, Manuel Artacho, and the president of ACIA, Jorge del Pino.

Under this agreement, Unicaja offers Antequera companies financial products and services under advantageous conditions to meet their needs, promote investments and support the expansion and development of strategic projects.

This collaboration is part of Unicaja's interest in favoring the business fabric, facilitating economic growth and supporting employment in the town of Antequera, in the province of Málaga.

Support to SMEs

Companies, in general, and SMEs, in particular, continue to be one of the key objectives of Unicaja's financing policy, which is why it remains active in financing the initiatives of this group, a key driver in the dynamization of the economy and job creation.

The Asociación de Comercio, Empresas e Industrias y Centro Comercial Abierto de Antequera is a local non-profit professional and business organization, which has been active for four decades.

Its purposes include to represent, defend and promote the best conditions for the economic, social and professional development of its associates; to maintain cooperative relations among them, in order to obtain better management; to stimulate commercial relations among the merchants and industrialists of the town, in order to promote joint actions to attract consumers, and to increase the objectives of the different sectors of the entity.
