Unicaja reaffirms its support to the olive sector with its participation in Expoliva 2025, the International Fair of Olive Oil and Related Industries, to be held in Jaén from 14 to 17 May.
The bank will once again be present at this fair with its own stand of almost 90 square meters, where it will show its wide and specialized offer of financial products and services for the olive and agricultural sector.
These include advances on Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) aid, the Fee-Free Plan for Agricultural Professionals, which exempts the most common commissions, and the Univerde card, which offers flexibility in payments, as well as multiple agricultural insurance policies.
In addition, the bank will hold a conference on the current economic situation and its consequences for the sector, entitled 'The era of tariffs: threat or opportunity for the olive sector', by Unicaja’s head of International Business, Roberto Carrasco.
Unicaja's participation in Expoliva, present since its inception, is part of the support that the bank provides to the business and economic development of the province of Jaén, with special attention to the agricultural sector, and the olive grove in particular.

To facilitate the day-to-day activity of companies and self-employed professionals in the sector, it offers the Fee-Free Plan for Agricultural Professionals, with which, by linking and complying with a series of conditions, clients can benefit from accounts without maintenance or administration fees, online transfers without issue fees, associated professional credit cards or linked wireless mobile POS terminals without maintenance fees, among others.
Expoliva 2025
Expoliva 2025, the International Fair of Olive Oil and Related Industries, is one of the most important global events for the promotion and development of the olive grove and olive oil sector, an industry and a product of key importance for the economy of the province of Jaén.
This year's edition will feature several activities and an extensive program, including a scientific-technical symposium, which will bring together international experts to reflect on the latest advances in research and technology related to the sector. The Expoliva Awards will also be presented, in several categories and dedicated to recognizing excellence in production and innovation within the sector.
On the other hand, the International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Show (Siaove) will be held, a space dedicated to the exhibition and tasting of the best extra virgin olive oils.
Expoliva 2025, which aims to be a meeting point for the exchange of knowledge, the promotion of products and the creation of networks within the olive oil industry, will have the participation of different exhibitors, both national and international, who will present the latest innovations and products in the sector.
