The Edufinet Project, a financial education program promoted by Fundación Unicaja and Unicaja, has surpassed the 100,000 followers and subscribers barrier in its social network profiles and podcast platforms during March, which represents an increase of 27,266 users, 36% more than at the end of 2024. This figure is almost ten times the number reached during the first quarter of last year.

This growth has been particularly significant in the number of people who have visited and viewed the daily audiovisual content, mostly short videos, that Edufinet produces and disseminates through its YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok profiles. Thus, in the first three months of 2025, these social media channels have accumulated, in total, more than four million views, tripling the data recorded in March 2024.

As for its podcasts, available on the Spotify and iVoox platforms, the number of visits also shows an upward trend compared to the first quarter of the previous year, now approaching 2,000 in these first three months.

This increase in the volume of followers and subscribers confirms the importance and regularity of the educational and informative work carried out by the Edufinet Project through these channels, with the aim of bringing economic and financial information and issues to the public in a pleasant, simple, didactic and continuous way. Through these audiovisual contents, the financial education program addresses a wide variety of aspects related to the economic and financial world on different subjects. Among them, some of an informative nature stand out, with practical and useful advice on cybersecurity and cyberfraud prevention.

During this first quarter, Edufinet has developed and disseminated 210 videos and podcasts on its social media profiles and audiovisual platforms, which represent half of the total content published. Specifically, a total of 90 short daily videos and 15 long training videos or webinars have been disseminated throughout this period. The Edufinet Project website (www.edufinet.com) registered more than 44,400 visits, almost 5,000 more than in the first quarter of last year.

With regard to the training work that this financial education project has carried out from January to March 2025, through the development of different sessions, both in person and online, the figures also reflect a positive evolution. In this sense, a total of 660 seminars and workshops have been given, 400 more than in the first three months of 2024, aimed at all kinds of audiences. These include primary, secondary, high school and vocational training students, university students, the elderly and people with disabilities, in more than thirty Spanish provinces and 15 different autonomous communities. The activities of these training days also doubled in number with respect to those carried out from January to March 2024.

Likewise, the number of people attending these sessions experienced a notable increase this quarter, with the total number of beneficiaries growing by more than 15,000, reaching almost 22,500. Specifically, this growth was greater among secondary school, high school and vocational training students, from just over 6,100 in March 2024 to approximately 19,100 during the same period in 2025. At the same time, the number of teaching hours increased to 703, which is more than double the number of hours taught in the first quarter of last year.

In addition, as part of its efforts to promote financial education and inclusion of the public, in the first quarter of 2025, 19 articles were prepared and published on the Edufinet website, both informative and academic, an increase of almost 36% over the same period of the previous year.
