Unicaja and Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias Castilla-La Mancha have signed a new collaboration agreement with the aim of streamlining and simplifying the management of the procedures for applying for aid from the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). Under this agreement, members of the organization will be able to benefit from an efficient service for the presentation of their applications, as well as access to special financial conditions, including the advance payment, by arranging for the direct payment of the aid at Unicaja.

The regional manager of Unicaja, Almudena Noheda, and the general manager of Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias Castilla-La Mancha, Juan Miguel del Real, have signed this agreement, in the headquarters of the bank in Toledo, with the goal of adapting the financial resources to the real needs of the professionals and guarantee a quality service in the procedures and advance of the aids.

Almudena Noheda stressed the importance of working hand in hand with organizations such as Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias in order to be closer to farmers, livestock breeders and professionals in the agri-food sector of Castilla-La Mancha and to offer them a range of financial products and services adapted to their production characteristics and needs.

In this sense, the bank has allocated a total of 1,000 million euros to the present CAP campaign to give access to pre-granted loans for the amounts covered by the aids. These loans allow for agile access to the said amount. This offer is also extended with loans for the modernization and improvement of farms.

Juan Miguel del Real expressed his satisfaction for renewing one more year the collaboration between Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias Castilla-La Mancha and Unicaja, allowing our partners to have the advice of our technicians when processing the CAP, together with the financial advantages provided by Unicaja to face the campaign with peace of mind. A collaboration of maximum confidence for farmers.

Wide range of adapted products and services

Unicaja offers a wide range of specific products and services designed for farmers, livestock breeders and the agri-food industry as a whole, working constantly to renew and adapt its financial resources to the real needs of professionals in the sector.

Thus, they can access loans for agricultural investments, to improve the sustainability of their businesses or to finance new crops, in order to support their projects to continue growing and increase their competitiveness.

In addition, under the agreement with the Government of Castilla-La Mancha, Unicaja offers farmers and livestock breeders in the region special financing conditions, with the aim of injecting liquidity into the agricultural sector.

Unicaja's commitment to continuous support for farming translates into the provision of financial, protection and advisory services, as well as the development of specific agreements, aware of the importance of being at the side of professionals in the agricultural and livestock sector in order to contribute to the economic and sustainable development of Castilla-La Mancha.
