Unicaja has extended until June 30th the promotion by which it offers businesses six months free1 of Flat Rate for the point of sale terminal (POS) service, which includes both the processing of operations with national cards and the maintenance of the device.
The campaign ended on March 31st and has been extended for three more months. Specifically, this action is aimed at new business enrollments (or those made in the last 30 days) or inactive ones that have not operated in the previous 12 months and that adhere to this modality, in any of their billing ranges.
With the customer at the center of its activity, Unicaja's goal is to facilitate the daily work of freelancers and SMEs and thus improve the customer experience. Therefore, it offers this campaign, from which the customer can benefit through the entity's extensive network of offices.
Unicaja's Flat Rate provides clarity and predictability to businesses, as they can benefit from total transparency in payment processing costs, allowing them to maintain detailed expense tracking and precise financial planning.
Another advantage is adaptability, since the business can choose the monthly flat rate that best suits its needs based on its billing. Additionally, the fixed fee ensures that there will be no unexpected charges at the end of the month.
Products for businesses and the self-employed
In addition to the flat rate for businesses, Unicaja offers a wide variety of products and services for companies and the self-employed, with the aim of facilitating their activity and offering the best customer experience.
1This promotion discounts the monthly fee of the Flat Rate for the first 6 months plus the proportional part of the month in which the membership occurs. It is valid for businesses registered within the campaign period or 30 days before its start, as well as for inactive businesses that have not operated in the previous 12 months and that adhere to the Flat Rate system in any of its billing segments. This promotion is valid until June 30, 2025. They must adhere to the promotion and sign the commitment to remain in the entity for 12 uninterrupted months from the date of joining it. If the customer changes their Flat Rate to a lower segment, they will be breaching the retention commitment. The Flat Rate has 5 segments based on their national monthly billing: €1,000, €2,000, €4,000, €6,000, and €10,000, and their monthly fees are €9, €19, €30, €42, and €60. In these fees, billing with international cards and national billing exceeding the amount corresponding to the contracted rate are excluded. The national billing that exceeds will be settled at 1.1% of the operation amount with a minimum of €0.35 per operation.
