Next week, Unicaja will hold a series of corporate meetings in different Spanish cities, in which the bank’s senior management, led by the chairman, José Sevilla, and the CEO, Isidro Rubiales, will inform the operational teams and the Business network, from all the bank's territories, of the main lines of work to be developed with the implementation of the 2025-2027 Strategic Plan. A roadmap that focuses on digital transformation, improving customer experience and sustainable growth.

With workshops which will take place in Santander, Salamanca, Toledo and Cordoba, the management team plans to share with the bank's staff the axes of the Strategic Plan, oriented towards creating value for the customer, strengthening the bank's growth and consolidating its positioning; transmitting that both customers and employees are at the center of its development, and increasing the relationship between areas that are key to its implementation.

The chairman of Unicaja, José Sevilla, highlighted “the importance of these meetings with the operational and business teams, who are in direct contact with customers, around a clear and ambitious vision of Unicaja's project, since a large part of the success in achieving the plan depends on the alignment and commitment of the team”.

Unicaja's CEO, Isidro Rubiales, pointed out that “this initiative is a unique opportunity to communicate the strategic objectives we have set, to listen first-hand to the concerns of the teams and to reinforce the culture of collaborative work”. He added that “this strategic plan has been designed as a roadmap to reinforce our positioning as a more agile, efficient bank, focused on offering value-added solutions to customers, and the involvement of all the teams is essential for its implementation”.

Following these meetings, the company will organize a convention, focused on communicating to the extended management team the strategic pillars that will enable it to achieve the financial and qualitative objectives set for the 2025-2027 period.

Strategic Plan 2025-2027

The 2005-2027 Strategic Plan approved by Unicaja aims to consolidate the bank as a universal bank, close and open to all, boosting profitability in a sustained manner and building capacities to guarantee a bank of the future with leadership in the territories of origin.

In short, the bank's objectives are to transform retail banking, building a Unicaja brand experience and positioning itself as its customers' main bank. And, in the corporate area, business growth, a better experience and the expansion of the product catalog.
