Unicaja, as part of its official sponsorship of the ski and mountain resort of Sierra Nevada (Granada), is launching a promotional campaign of actions and activities to coincide with the long weekend for the Day of Andalusia (28 February to 2 March).

Among the gifts that will be given away are free ski passes, tickets for the Mirlo Blanco family activity park, LEGO packs or dinners in restaurants, among others. The organization will also have its own food truck, which will serve as an information point and will offer hot chocolate to skiers and visitors.

In addition to the distribution of official Unicaja merchandising, the bank will also carry out raffles through 'scratch and win' cards that will be distributed throughout the station, as well as promotional actions through its social networks.

Unicaja's support to Sierra Nevada, managed by the public company Cetursa, responds to the bank’s interest in reinforcing its support to the productive fabric and the sectors that drive economic development and employment, especially in its traditional areas of operation, such as Granada and its province.

It is also part of the company's firm commitment to the promotion of sports and its values, and to the respect and conservation of the environment, one of the key points of the company's sustainability policy.

Sierra Nevada ski and mountain resort

The ski and mountain resort of Sierra Nevada is one of the most visited and important in Spain. Located in a privileged enclave where the protected status of Natural Park and National Park coexist, it is a reference in tourism management and socioeconomic development based on the postulates of sustainability, protection and conservation of its environment.

The activity of the resort is not limited to winter, as it remains open during the summer months through an alternative leisure offer, which generates employment and wealth throughout the year. Thus, its summer program offers astro-tourism initiatives, ecotourism, hiking, sports events in nature, cultural events and the continuous use of the ski lifts.
