The Town Hall of Valladolid and the associations of the retail sector launch, from 9 October, a new edition of the discount voucher campaign for local shops, 'Tu Bono Próximo-Otoño', through which they will offer 18,320 discount vouchers of 10 euros in six weeks, until 13 November. This initiative has one more year with the collaboration of Unicaja as a financial institution that will operationally manage this promotion.

The presentation event, held today, was attended by the Councilor for Education and Culture, Irene Carvajal; the president of the Valladolid Association of Commerce (Avadeco), Rafael Monedero Fernández; the president of the Federation of Traders of Valladolid (Fecosva), Jesús Herreras Revuelta; and the treasurer of the Chamber of Commerce, Jorge Valentín-Gamazo. On behalf of Unicaja, José Manuel Matilla, head of Valladolid Centro at Unicaja, participated.

The initiative is financed with 206,000 euros by the Town Hall of Valladolid, within the framework of the Agreement with Avadeco, Fecosva and the Valladolid Chamber of Commerce for the promotion and modernization of local retail trade.

As explained by the organizers, the main purpose of this campaign is to revitalize sales in small businesses. At the same time, they want to raise awareness among citizens that, by consuming in local shops, they are building community, stimulating the activity of the city and contributing to a more sustainable environment, enjoying a personalized shopping experience.

In previous editions of this promotion, 700 shops have participated, and a total of 30,000 users have benefited from the 138,000 vouchers redeemed, which generated a return to the city of about 7 million euros.
