Unicaja, as part of the renewal of its agreement with the Andalusian Confederation of Business Owners (CEA, Confederación de Empresarios de Andalucía), has once again made available a 1,000-million-euro financing line with the aim of supporting the business sector in the region and helping to strengthen the liquidity of companies in their daily activities.

The renewal of this agreement, which reinforces the relationship that has existed between the two entities for more than two decades, was signed by the CEO of Unicaja, Isidro Rubiales, and the president of CEA, Javier González de Lara.

In this way, Unicaja offers the nearly 200,000 self-employed professionals and companies that are part of the Andalusian employers' association a complete range of specific financial products and services, under advantageous conditions, which are focused on facilitating their activity and undertaking their investments.

Unicaja's support to CEA is part of the general interest of the bank to contribute to the development of actions aimed at promoting the activity of the business network and facilitating the economic momentum in Andalusia.

In this regard, the CEO of Unicaja, Isidro Rubiales, stressed that “companies in general, and SMEs in particular, which are key to boosting the economy and employment, continue to be one of the key groups in Unicaja's financing policy”, especially with regard to Andalusia, one of its regions of origin.

For its part, from CEA, its president, Javier González de Lara, has pointed out that “in the current financial situation, companies are of great importance and, therefore, access to financing is essential. From CEA we seek agreements and collaborations with various financial institutions that commit resources, so we are pleased that Unicaja, with a presence throughout Andalusia, assumes this important commitment to financing aimed at companies that are directly and indirectly part of the CEA and other business organizations”.

Products and services with financial advantages from Unicaja

For Unicaja, it is essential that its catalog of products and services and, above all, its agility in resolving the proposals of these professionals make it possible for them to boost and progress in their businesses.

Specifically, within Unicaja's complete range of products and services under advantageous conditions, those aimed at covering the liquidity needs of these sectors, as well as those that allow them to be accompanied in the development of their investment projects, stand out.

Unicaja also offers a wide range of varied services, related, among other aspects, to the management of collections and payments, or to asset advisory services.  It also offers this sector the advantages of digital banking, with the development of applications to provide service to businesses and companies.

CEA

The Confederación de Empresarios de Andalucía (CEA) is the business organization of reference in Andalusia, a region in which it brings together nearly 800 business and sectorial organizations, which represents the equivalent of some 200,000 companies, SMEs and self-employed workers.

The Confederation has completed its first 45 years of history, reaffirming its commitment to the productive fabric and progress of the region. Its presence and representation are permanent in the eight Andalusian provinces, through the CEA Territorial Organizations. Thus, in all the territories and from the direct contact with the productive sectors, it is the voice of the Andalusian companies: it is the legitimate interlocutor with the public administration and the majority unions, in the defense of the interests and needs of the Andalusians who are entrepreneurs and create companies.

CEA also carries out intense institutional work as an active member of 320 advisory and consultative bodies of the Junta de Andalucía and is a member of the Governing Bodies of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE).
