Unicaja has received an award during the celebration of the Private Security Day, which took place last Thursday, 20 June, in Malaga. Specifically, this distinction recognizes the collaboration and good relationship between the financial institution and the National Police Force.
During the celebration of the Private Security Day, organized by the Professional Association of Private Security Services Companies, the Malaga Association of Security Companies and the Spanish Federation of Security and with the participation of the Guardia Civil and the National Police, special mentions are awarded to professionals in the sector. In the case of Unicaja, the honorary medal was awarded to María del Mar Jiménez Muñoz, head of Services and Security.
This celebration, now in its 17th edition and held at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Industrial de Málaga, was also sponsored by Unicaja.
Corporate security
Unicaja's head of Services and Security stressed the importance of security in all areas, especially in the financial sector, where the objective must be to continue implementing innovative measures to minimize risks.
María del Mar Jiménez therefore highlighted the importance of corporate security for Unicaja and also remarked the importance of collaboration between public and private security to achieve the highest levels of protection and, therefore, offer a better service to citizens.
She also pointed out that threats, although they may increase from the cybersecurity point of view, are also present in the field of physical security, what makes it necessary to reinforce internal protocols and apply appropriate technological measures for proper risk management.
