Unicaja Banco reaffirms its support to entrepreneurship and collaborates with the 1st 'Congreso Impulso Empresarial de Extremadura'

Organized in Merida on 11 November, it aims at generating synergies and reactivating business

Unicaja Banco strengthens its support to Extremadura business and entrepreneurship fabric with the sponsorship of the 1stCongreso Impulso Empresarial de Extremadura’, to be held in Merida on 11 November. Organized by the Asociación Empresarial Impulso, the attendance of 250 professionals is expected, including freelancers and business owners, with the goal of generating synergies and reactivating business.

 

Throughout the day, Olympic athletes, successful entrepreneurs and institutional representatives of the fields of economy and business will meet to share their experiences, which can serve as an example and inspiration to promote future projects, under the common denominator of effort and perseverance. The meeting will also facilitate business meetings and will host some thirty business stands to establish contacts for future business collaborations.

 

The President of Asociación Empresarial Impulso, Víctor León, and the Manager of Unicaja Banco’s branch in Merida, Fernando Sánchez, have signed today the agreement under which the bank becomes one of the main partners of the first edition of the congress.

 

Unicaja Banco’s support to this project falls within the support that the bank provides to the business fabric and within its interest in promoting entrepreneurship in Extremadura, as well as in favouring the economic boost and job creation in the areas where it operates.

 

Lectures and roundtables

 

One of the programme’s highlight will be the lectures given by renowned businessmen, such as Ismael Villalobos (General Manager of La Casa de las Carcasas), David Mata (CEO of Dave Designs), José Manuel Fernández (CEO of Clínicas Dorsia), Alejandro Márquez (Commercial Manager of Grupo Preving) or Jorge Morán (Sales General Manager of Finetwork).

 

Likewise, regarding sports, Olympic athletes from Extremadura such as judoka Cristina Cabaña, thrower Javier Cienfuegos or race walker Álvaro Martín will participate in the 1st ‘Congreso Impulso Empresarial de Extremadura’.
