Unicaja Banco collaborates with Castilla-La Mancha Quijote Marathon, the event that encompasses the 25th Marathon, the 10th Half Marathon and the 10th 10k Run and which will take place in Ciudad Real on 24 October.

As part of its commitment to promote activities that generate value in Castilla-La Mancha, in general, and in Ciudad Real in particular, the bank, aware of the importance of sports and of a healthy lifestyle, has been collaborating with this event over the last years, and gives its support to the 25th anniversary edition.

The general coordinator of Quijote Marathon, Mateo Gómez, has highlighted the support of Unicaja Banco to sports: ‘The Quijote Marathon is back, with renewed strength and enthusiasm, but it would not be possible to organize it without the support of institutions like Unicaja Banco. We are so thankful for their commitment’.

Unicaja Banco and Quijote Maratón ADAD, organizer of the event, together with the Patronato Municipal de Deportes de Ciudad Real, have entered into a sponsorship agreement which links both organizations in this new edition of Castilla-La Mancha running event.

The support to sports and the promotion of sport practice responds to Unicaja Banco’s commitment to its home regions and to the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, within the framework of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
