Federación Malagueña de Peñas
Federación Malagueña de Peñas was established in 1981 through the union of a group of institutions from Malaga, most of them with a caseta at the fairground. Its goals are the promotion and defense of Málaga peñas (associations), the development and consolidation of a good community spirit in all its fields of actions, based on full respect to the characteristics, personality and features of each peña, as well as solidarity between them. It also fosters the promotion and development of activities in the interest of all the peñas which are member of the institution.
With more than 80 associations, the Federación carries out an especially remarkable work in the recovery and promotion of traditions such as Cruces de Mayo, Nativity scenes or Pastorales, with Malaga Fair being the most visible area of its support to traditions.
