Unicaja Banco’s support to Simed falls within its activity as financial institution focused on retail and proximity banking and within its role to participate in the economic development of Malaga in particular and of Andalusia in general.

Besides being one of the sponsors, the bank will have its own stand, which will work as a meeting point with customers and visitors to inform them about the products and services available.

Simed features a broad range of properties, including new or recently built developments and second-hand housing, mainly in Malaga city and its province, such as Marbella, Mijas, Benalmadena, Torremolinos, Estepona, Rincon de la Victoria or Alhaurin de la Torre, just to mention a few. The offered properties include housing placed in other Andalusian cities, such as San Roque (Cadiz), Jerez de la Frontera (Cadiz), Sevilla or Granada, and also outside Andalusia - Granollers (Barcelona)-.

The main developers and agencies of the country will exhibit a varied portfolio of housing ranging from 97,500 to 3.5 million euros, most of them with supplementary equipment adapted to any need. From residential products with parking space, storeroom, swimming pool and common areas, to more specialized spaces such as sport premises and play areas for children.

As a new feature this year, the exhibition area includes new spaces dedicated to the challenges faced by the real estate sector, such as digital transformation and building under sustainability and high energy efficiency criteria.

This way, building and equipment meeting sustainability standards will be represented in the space ‘Simed Edifica Sostenible’, through the development of housing with specific installations for the optimization and efficient management of consumption.

Furthermore, the companies will showcase advanced products and materials for home renovation and refurbishment like windows with energy-saving glazing, thermal-insulation systems, smart ventilation, high-level sun protection systems or the BREEAM® methodology (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology) for building assessment and certification.

Simed will be open on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 from 10:00 to 20:00, and on Sunday 10 from 10:00 to 15:00. In addition to the support of Unicaja Banco, Simed is organized by Malaga Trade Fair and Congress Center (Fycma) and by Malaga City Council. The Gerencia Municipal de Urbanismo, Obras e Infraestructuras and the Instituto Municipal de la Vivienda also collaborate in the event.
