The goal of these awards is to recognize the most innovative business initiatives and with the highest growth and development potential in each province. Then, the best Andalusian company 2019 will be chosen from among the provincial winners in the regional phase of the competition.

‘AGrowingData’ is a data analytics, big data and artificial intelligence company, specializing in the agri-food industry, established in El Ejido by Javier Borondo and Manuel Valverde. ‘CCL Fruit y Vegetales’ is a company established by the siblings Consuelo y José Manuel Alarcón, in Cuevas del Almanzora, dedicated to the export of fruits and vegetables to Europe. The first one has been awarded in the category ‘Creation’, for recently established business initiatives (up to three years ago); and the second one in the category ‘Consolidation’, aimed at businesses between three and seven years of history.

As prize, the promoters of both companies have received a technology gadget, sponsored by Programa Minerva, promoted by Junta de Andalucía and Vodafone, and they will also participate as finalists in the regional phase of the competition.
