Unicaja Banco ratifies one more year its support to the olive grove sector with its participation in Expoliva 2019, consolidated as the world’s most important trade fair in this sector, which will be held at the Recinto Provincial de Ferias y Congresos in Jaen from today Wednesday until Saturday 18 May.

The financial institution has its own stand at Expoliva, where it provides the attendees with information on its wide, traditional and specialized range of financial products and services for the olive grove sector, and for the agricultural sector in general. The bank also organizes two sessions of Enclave Agrario, informative talks with experts on the sector.

 

The participation of Unicaja Banco in this fair falls within the support that the financial institution gives to the business fabric and to the economic development of the province of Jaen, as well as to the agricultural sector.

 

Unicaja Banco participates one more year in Jaen in Expoliva, the International Fair of Olive Oil and Allied Industries, consolidated as the world’s most important trade fair in this sector, which its celebrating its 19th edition.

 

With its participation in Expoliva 2019, inaugurated today Wednesday at the Recinto Provincial de Ferias y Congresos in Jaen and open until Saturday 18 May, Unicaja Banco ratifies its support to the sector of olive grove and olive oil.

 

The financial institution has its own stand at the fair, where it provides the attendees with information on its wide, traditional and specialized range of financial products and services for the olive grove sector, and for the agricultural sector in general.

 

The bank also organizes within Expoliva two sessions of Enclave Agrario, that is, informative talks by experts on the sector, covering the importance of quality in the production of olive oil and its influence on market prices, and the analysis of olive yield, analysis of pomace as oil mill control and presence of pollutants.

 

The participation of Unicaja Banco in Expoliva, where it has collaborated since its first edition, falls within the support that the financial institution gives to the business fabric and to the economic development of the province of Jaen, as well as to the agricultural sector and especially to one of the most main sectors of agricultural production in Andalusia: olive oil and allied industries.

It is also important to mention the participation of Unicaja Banco in the campaign of subsidies of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), providing customers with advice and personalized management of their application dossiers, as well as with possibility of receiving the payments in advance, with loans under favourable terms. For that purposed, it has set a credit line for an amount of 332 million euros. The bank has a remarkable range of agricultural insurances, including insurance for olive groves, with adapted coverage, customized financing and discounts and rebates.

 

About Expoliva

 

Expoliva was first held in 1983, and it has become the world’s first monographic fair on olive grove. It has grown in number of participating professionals, visitors and institutions to become a reference for all the sector of olive oil. In its previous edition, organized in 2017, Expoliva gathered more than 52,000 visitors and 340 exhibitors.

 

Additionally, the fair also hosts other activities such as the Technical and Scientific Symposium, organized by Fundación del Olivar and including four forums: Olive Oil Tourism, Olive Oil Industry, Technology and Quality; Olive Grove and Environment, Social and Economic Forum, and the VII International Extra Virgin Expoliva Fair, which will host a selection of the best extra virgin olive oils of the world.
