Unicaja Banco participates one more year with its sponsorship in the organization of the Spanish Wine Fair (Feria Nacional del Vino, Fenavin), to be held from today Thursday 7 to 9 May in Ciudad Real. Fenavin 2019, organized by Ciudad Real Provincial Council, has become the most important trade fair on Spanish wine and it has a strong international relevance.

The institution will give a talk at Fenavin 2019 called ‘Exporting wine: financial solutions to reduce risks’, on the possibilities that the internationalization of these products offers to companies. The bank will also participate in roundtable discussions on the relationship between wine and olive oil, the leadership of Spain in worldwide wine tourism and vineyards as a generator of wealth in rural areas.

 

Unicaja Banco’s collaboration with this Spanish wine fair falls within the actions it carries out to foster the economic boost of Castilla-La Mancha and, in particular, of Ciudad Real, and to promote the agricultural sector and, especially, one of the main drivers of Spain’s agricultural production, as it is the case of wine and its surrounding industry.

Unicaja Banco’s support to Fenavin 2019 was reflected in the new collaboration agreement, ratified by the Commercial Manager of Unicaja Banco Madrid and Castilla-La Mancha Regional Division, Rosa Galán, and by the President of Ciudad Real Provincial Council and Fenavin, José Manuel Caballero.

The bank will also participate in roundtable discussions on the relationship between wine and olive oil, the leadership of Spain in worldwide wine tourism and vineyards as a generator of wealth in rural areas.

More than 1,500 wineries and cooperatives from all the entire national territory and different designations of origin (D.O.) will be present at Fenavin 2019, to be held from 7 to 9 May in Ciudad Real. In addition to business activities and wine tastings, Fenavin includes many other activities, with technical and institutional workshops and on the wine culture.
