The official presentation of this tour has taken place today, with an unplugged concert given by Efecto Mariposa members, Susana Alva and Frasco Ridgway.
The Malaga duo will take its music to 13 cities: Malaga, Seville, Cordoba, Almeria, Jaen, Granada, Madrid, Valladolid, Salamanca, Burgos, Leon, Caceres and Badajoz.
The tour’s sponsorship by Unicaja Banco falls within its support to initiatives aimed at disseminating music by taking it closer to the public.
The band Efecto Mariposa will travel from March to May around the scenarios of theaters, auditoriums and halls of thirteen Spanish cities to present their latest album, on the ‘Vuela Cerca’ tour, sponsored by Unicaja Banco.
The official presentation of this tour has taken place today, in an event held in Sala Unicaja de Conciertos María Cristina in Malaga, with an unplugged concert given by Susana Alva and Frasco Ridgway, Efecto Mariposa members.
On the ‘Vuela Cerca’ tour, from March to May the duo will travel the scenarios of 13 cities in Spain: Malaga, Seville, Cordoba, Almeria, Jaen, Granada, Madrid, Valladolid, Salamanca, Burgos, Leon, Caceres and Badajoz.
The first concert will be held on 6 March in Seville, followed by gigs in Cordoba (15), Valladolid (16), Salamanca (22), Caceres (23), Almeria (29) and Jaen (30). In April, there will be concerts in Granada (5), Madrid (24), Burgos (25), León (26) and Badajoz (27). The tour will end on 8 May in Malaga.
The ‘Vuela Cerca’ tour’s sponsorship by Unicaja Banco falls within the framework of an agreement entered into with Attraction Management. This support responds to the bank’s interest in supporting initiatives aimed at disseminating music by taking it closer to the public.
Efecto Mariposa’s latest album, their eighth record and seventh studio album, includes songs like ‘¿Qué me está pasando?, ‘Fue tan bonito’, ‘Mágico’ or ‘Vuela’, which will be presented on this new tour. The duo will also perform some of its hits, such as ‘Por quererte’, ‘No me crees’ or their cover of ‘Il mondo’.
After their work ‘Comienzo’ (2014) and following a four-year break, the pop band came back to the music scene in 2018 with ‘Vuela’. The band shows an extraordinary capacity to stay in the forefront.

With ‘Vuela’, produced by Bori Alarcón (winner of several Grammy Awards and Premios Ondas with different projects in Spain), Efecto Mariposa, one of the leading exponents of Spanish pop, wants to keep adding hits and awards.
Efecto Mariposa, with over 800 gigs since the start of its career, recorded its first album in 2001, although their greatest hits came a few year later with albums like ‘Metamorfosis II’ (2004) and their cover of the Italian classic ‘Il mondo’, by Jimmy Fontana; ‘Complejidad’ (2005) with songs like ‘No me crees’ or ’40:04’ (2009), with ‘Por quererte’.
