Unicaja Banco becomes official sponsor of Sierra Nevada (Granada) ski and mountain resort –managed by the public company Cetursa-, following an agreement under which the financial institution will sponsor the ski resort and the sporting and cultural activities organized there during the summer.

Unicaja Banco’s sponsorship of Sierra Nevada ski and mountain resort, one of the most visited in Spain, reflects its interest in reinforcing its support to the productive fabric and the sectors driving the economic development and job creation, both in Andalusia in general and in the Granada province in particular. It also outlines the bank’s support to the promotion of tourism and sports.

With the agreement, Unicaja Banco fosters the respect to the environment, as Sierra Nevada is a protected natural area and biosphere reserve, and it contributes to the development of actions aimed at the protection of this natural space.

Other activities of Unicaja Banco in Granada

This support by Unicaja Banco to the economic, sporting, touristic and cultural life of Granada, reinforcing its economic and business fabric, is reflected also in other initiatives where the bank collaborates, such as the Ultra Sierra Nevada race, the event on entrepreneurship Alhambra Venture or the Lorca Route. All of that, in addition to the usual financial activity of Unicaja Banco in the province, an important area of action for the bank and with which it has a long-standing link, within Unicaja Banco’s presence as a financial institution of reference in Andalusia.
