Unicaja Banco sponsors the III Award to the Best MIR Record in Ciudad Real, given to MD Ramón Maseda Uriza

Unicaja Banco sponsors one more year the Award to the Best MIR Record of MDs in Ciudad Real. This award is fostered by the Official Association of MDs in Ciudad Real (Colegio Oficial de Médicos de Ciudad Real), and this third edition has been granted to MD Ramón Maseda Uriza, specialist in Cardiology.

The prize, consisting of € 3,000, recognizes the best academic record in the system of public training for medical specialties in centers of the Ciudad Real province.

 

Unicaja Banco’s support to this award falls within the interest of the financial institution in the promotion of health so as to have a positive impact on society. It is also a proof of Unicaja Banco’s recognition of the service provided by medical professionals.

 

Unicaja Banco sponsors one more year the Award to the Best Medical Intern Residency (MIR) Record of MDs in Ciudad Real. This award is fostered by the Official Association of MDs in Ciudad Real, and this third edition has been granted to MD Ramón Maseda Uriza, specialist in Cardiology

 

The prize, consisting of € 3,000, awards the best academic record in the system of public training for medical specialties in centers of the Ciudad Real province. A large number of MDs who have finished this year their period of specialized training in sanitary centers of the province have participated in this edition.

 

Unicaja Banco’s support to this award recognizes the work of doctors and falls within the institution’s interest to promote health, in the regions where it operates, to generate a positive impact on society.

 

The award has been given at a ceremony in the headquarters of the Official Association of MDs in Ciudad Real, attended by the Commercial Manager of Unicaja Banco in Ciudad Real, Carlos del Hoyo Navarrete, and by the President of the said association, MD José Molina.

 

Del Hoyo, from Unicaja Banco, remarked in his speech Unicaja Banco’s commitment, in Ciudad Real province, to the health sector in general and to the Association and medical professionals in particular, as a professional group providing a great service to society and regarded by Unicaja Banco as a high value and of special interest.

 

He also highlighted, in this third year of sponsorship by Unicaja Banco, that all the institution’s branches in Ciudad Real are open to the medical professionals. Unicaja Banco has a network of 50 branches in the Ciudad Real area, and is present in most cities and villages of the province.

 

Molina, President of the MD Official Association, explained that, in relation the third edition of the Award to the Best MIR Record in Ciudad Real, it has received the application of residents “with an excellent CV, and I thank them for their participation, dedication and effort. It has been very difficult for us to make a final assessment. Unfortunately, there is only one award, although we are aware that we could have given it to many of the candidates”. At the same time, the President thanked Unicaja Banco for its collaboration because “without its support, these initiatives would not be possible”.

 

Likewise, MD Maseda, winner of the Award, thanked Unicaja Banco for the sponsorship and support to Health. He also highlighted the support of his colleagues, congratulated the MD Association for this kind of initiatives and dedicated the award to his family, for the time committed to his profession.
