Unicaja Banco, awarded in the 31st edition of the Premios Dirigentes, in the category Business Strategy

Unicaja Banco has been awarded in the 31st edition of the ‘Premios Dirigentes’, organized by Grupo Dirigentes, in the category ‘Business Strategy’ for its orientation to retail banking business under a prudent management of its commercial strategy and risk profile.

The prize, which highlights the importance of the business fabric in our country, was received by Unicaja Banco’s Deputy Chairman, Victorio Valle, in an event where professionals and companies from all fields were awarded.

 

Unicaja Banco has been awarded in the 31st edition of the ‘Premios Dirigentes’, organized by Grupo Dirigentes, in the category ‘Business Strategy’ for its orientation to retail banking business under a prudent management of its commercial strategy and risk profile. The award was received by Unicaja Banco’s Deputy Chairman, Victorio Valle, in an event organized in Madrid and where the importance of the Spanish business fabric was highlighted.

 

The award ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE, Confederación Española de Organizaciones Empresariales), Juan Rosell, who remarked the importance of these awards which recognize good social and economic practices over the last year. Furthermore, the Chairman of Grupo Dirigentes, Victorio Merino, stated that these awards are ‘a prize to good job, an acknowledgment which acquires a special meaning due to the difficulties of the crisis that we have suffered’.

 

Premios Dirigentes 2018

 

Among the twelve awarded in this edition, there are professionals and companies from all sectors of Spanish businesses. This way, the award to the Manager of the Year has been for Juan Pedro Moreno, Chairman of Accenture in Spain, Portugal and Israel, and the award to Company of the Year has been for Banco Santander.

 

The company Valdebebas Global City has also been awarded with the Project of the Year. The prize to Corporate Social Responsibility has gone to Fundación Mapfre, and Company Management, to Samsung Electronics Iberia.

 

The Dirigentes award for Business Strategy has been for Unicaja Banco, Innovation for Merck Group and Business Initiative, for Amundi. The Business Trajectory of Lizarran has also been recognized, as well as the Leadership of Essilor. The award to Customer Service has been for Securitas Direct, whereas Clínica Universidad de Navarra has received the prize to Quality.
